with promoting the Grand Duchy as a destination of choice for professional events.

The LCB offers to event organisers, no matter if they are based in Luxembourg or elsewhere, its expertise with personalised, unbiased advice. This one-to-one support is provided free of charge and helps to ensure the success of events organised in Luxembourg, from congresses and conventions to conferences and trade shows.

As we close a year of transformation, the #LuxembourgConventionBureau reaffirms its commitment to supporting international event organisers, associations and corporate clients choosing Luxembourg as their destination.

In 2025, we strengthened our team, refreshed our identity and advanced key priorities of the #BusinessEvents Strategy 2030, with a clear focus on delivering high-quality, client-centred support from bidding to delivery.

🤝 This ambition is shared with our trusted partner network across venues, accommodation, service providers and institutions, working together to ensure seamless and impactful events in #Luxembourg.

With Dr. Bettina Bunge joining as CEO, we move into 2026 with a clear direction: 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩. 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩. 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚. A mission focused on meaningful connections, lasting legacies and measurable impact.

✨ 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 ICCA France Benelux 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗶𝗻 𝟱 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 – Getting to know our members, meet Lina Ostapchuk, CICE , Chair of the ICCA France-Benelux Chapter , Association Business Events Manager, Luxembourg Convention Bureau

𝟭. ☀️ 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂?
Luxembourg has identified its strategic economic sectors, and our mission at the Luxembourg Convention Bureau is to strengthen these areas by bringing relevant business and scientific meetings to the country.

A typical day involves engaging with local experts across various fields, developing bidding strategies for targeted conferences, and managing the bidding process itself.

𝟮.  💬 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 #Luxembourg:
Luxembourg is multicultural;  it is home to 10 UNESCO World Heritage sites, and is the location of Schengen, a small town that is the birthplace of the European Union!

𝟯.  ⚡ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆?
Seeing an idea evolve into a successful event that creates real impact. 

𝟰.   🏙️ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆:
Luxembourg City is incredibly walkable and full of charm. I still love exploring the UNESCO-listed old town and its scenic terrasses, then head to Adolphe Bridge at sunset for one of the most stunning views over the city and its valley. And the best part - public transport is completely free across the entire country, making it easy to discover Luxembourg beyond the capital.

𝟱.   🏆 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗼𝗳?
The positive impact the Luxembourg Convention Bureau has on the local scientific and business community.
